theres more to media than just the tv...the news paper....magazines....radio....even news from friends....

i usually reject the norm... especially from forms of media... i have my own thoughts and beliefs. thats all that matters...

No simply because I know that the media blows things out of proportions on purpose just to gain ratings. Besides the media can be very one sided and unfair and it feels as if the media can be somewhat dishonest.

That's a hard question because in many ways we all are when it comes to things like fashion, and prejudice viewpoints.. but when it comes to things like anorexia i think it is different..
There is no escape from the media because it is everywhere so we all are influenced by it even if we say we are not.. it is part of our socialisation, and helps forms our identities

I personally feel our media is very one sided and that we never really get the whole truth. I don't trust them so I am not influenced by them.

I try not to be but it is hard because of some of the ways they try to keep putting the same information down your throat. I try to sieve out the biases that some communicate in their messages and see if there is any valuable information that I should know.
