Dear friends

i saved web pages from the internet explorer. But after some days, when i open the saved file, it is coming that "The page cannot be displayed" and i miss that web page.

How to rectify this?

Which type of web page will be in my system and which type will not be displayed?

Thanks a lot

If you save the page in your booksmarks or as a link, you will not truly save the page. This is because you are only saving a link to the page on a remote server. If the page host changes the page, you will be linked to the new page. Your other option is to

A.) have the page you want to save synchronize as a offline page or

B.) View the source code and save it to your local PC as a .html file

When you save a web page what you get is what is on that page when you save it. It is not a link, just a copy of the page. If you want to be able to return to pages that you like, add them to your bookmarks.

certainly ? internet site strategies ? save as ? elect the section to maintain the internet site ? do no longer substitute the format or report extension (Sorry this if for IE 7, while you're utilising IE 6 save as is below report...) The internet site would be stored as a area... Anothe approach may well be to take a demonstrate shot of the internet site by way of pressing: Alt + Prt Scr (Print demonstrate) And this might make a image replica (mouse and all) of the demonstrate to be pasted right into a document... you are able to then save the document.

Could be a security feature implanted in the website's code that makes it go offline and unavailable after a few days.
