I got a call from God yesterday and he told me that he was none too pleased with all this 'using his name in vain' stuff and Pat's spreading hateful rhetoric. At least, I thought it was God anyway.

Aye, Pat Robertson has really been rather intolerant, and he has gone against many of Jesus's teachings. For example, Pat Robertson once called for someone to kill another person (the one South American anti-bush politician who's name i have forgotten), and also Jesus's teaching that you should love thy neighbor, which since the entire world is now connected, counts as all other citizens of the Earth. Also, his utter falsehoods which he hath spread, such as his "weight-loss shake". Jerry Falwell also was a false prophet, one example of this being that after 9/11 he blamed the tragedy on women not being in subservient roles in society anymore. In my opinion, what is even worse are the people who profit from religion, and a good example of this is Mel Gibson's The Passion of The Christ. 1: you should focus on how Jesus lived not how he died, in the old testament God said that God would give Jews a messiah who would DIE and be resurrected. so he would die anyway, you don't have a reason to be mad at the Jews just because their extremely distant relatives killed 1 person, the Christians did worse in the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition 2: The only time Jesus was ever angry was when he found merchants in the temple selling things claimed to be 'artifacts and holy items', he turned over their tables and chased them out, which is a clear sign that Mel Gibson is not on good terms anymore with Jesus. So, yes maybe Pat Robertson's time is over, but i hope it isn't, for i shall not wish death upon another. I merely wish that Pat Robertson would not be so intolerant and so biased, I mean, after all wasn't Jesus tolerant of most, if not all people and he always spoke the truth, did he not?

he's a citizen of the U. S.. He can say something he needs as long as he would not sell the overthrow of our government. some ought to argue that he's making a preparation close to to it yet basically he might understand that. additionally, inspite of God whispering in his ear (soul) others ought to internet site that even predicting a substantial terrorist attack, alongside with after September, ought to be construed as a lead as much as a terrorist attack on his section. Pat Robertson is a big believer in divine retribution, so he should be quivering in his loafers right now. God seems to have started cleaning house.

This is political hate gone mad.

Regardless of how you may personally feel about the man, he is a person, and respected by many. And, regardless of how you feel about him, he changed the political landscape.

Maybe that's why you hate him. I guess you're entitled to that. But I think it is appropriate for you to know this is offensive at a human level.
