I'm sure he didn't anticipate that the afterlife would be quite so hot...

Come on people (mainly on the left)! It's humor! It doesn't matter whether or not there's an afterlife! It's funny! You're all missing the point!

One the one hand, some of you are right in that it is a terrible thing to revel in the death of another, and I am already feeling a little bit guilty about this.

BUT COME ON PEOPLE! This is Jerry Falwell! One of the most evil men to ever have walked the Earth! He's not just "some guy with whom I happen to disagree". He's a bold-faced hypocrite who used his time here on Earth to take from the gullible and to make society a worse place. He sold out you, me, Christianity, probably even his own mother, just to make a buck. Good deal! Now I no longer feel guilty about being happy!

Now if God has a sense of humor, He may have send the following welcoming committee to the Pearly Gates to greet Falwell:

A black guy
A Muslim
A feminist
A gay person
A socialist

All dressed as Teletubbies!

Falwell isn't experiencing anything. It is total darkness. No life. No thoughts. No heaven. No hell. No angels. No Jesus. No Muhammed. Sheer nothingness. Allow his son to enjoy his millions.

I think you will be surprised when you realize how tasteless and rude this type of post is. No, it is not funny if it is someone you care about. You may not agree with his viewpoint, but I would never post something like that for your family to read after you pass away.

Wonder if he felt the heat during the last moments?

Brilliance shines again on the left. I'll take the bet as soon as you can prove where he's at.

why does everyone think he's in hell? i mean, i'll be honest, he was not my favorite person, and i enjoyed making fun of him as much as the next guy, but he wasnt a BAD person.

I'm sure he isn't feeling anything, because there is no afterlife, you just rot in the ground.

I bet he is walking with Jesus and Christ is telling him, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!"

What terms do you want?

Given he's dead, I'll take that bet....he doesn't exist any more. Poof.

I'm thinking he really just "isn't" any more. He's dead, no more "thinking" going on any more.
