Do yo think that the whole cycle of poverty is just a myth that the real reasons some people are poor for generations is because is because dumb people have dumb kids?

Yes. I can still remember from my biology classes how a male and female passes on their genetic coding to their offspring and how the offspring will have genetic coding from their parents, grandparents, great-great grandparents.... etc.

Intelligence is a genetic trait like any other thing so yes, intelligence can be passed on. But You must remember that the offspring will also have the genetics of previous generations. It also depends how many smart people there are in the family generally.

the reply to those questions is fairly much constantly nature by way of nurture... This one is not any distinctive. Intelligence is, to a level, genetic. you have a undemanding skill into which you would be able to strengthen, yet this skill is a reasonably huge selection---on a commonly used bell curve, that's approximately 2 commonly used deviations extensive, which, by way of the way, is as huge as approximately sixty seven% of all variability in human intelligence. interior of that selection, then, the way you're knowledgeable and socialized determines the place you easily fall. for example, somebody with severe genetic intelligence yet an enormously destructive training might prove "dumber" than somebody with low genetic intelligence who has an enormously enriching training. clever mothers and fathers are often the two genetically clever and raised with sturdy academic practices and possibilities that they've a tendency to take with no attention (slowly narrating the holiday to the food market for a pre-speech new child, for example) and save on with with out questioning. much less clever mothers and fathers usually don't have those practices, nor have they have been given the genetic make-as much as make up for the deficit.

No. A person who has mental retardation can have completely 'normal' children. Intelligence is also not a means of gauging poverty. There are highly intelligent people who were never what we consider wealthy, and there are less than intelligent folks who are extremely wealthy.

The test of poverty has more to do with available resources than it does intelligence. To make a grossly stereotypical analogy, for the sake of understanding here, I'll offer the many tales of impoverished youth gaining riches through sports scholarships. This is an available resource those in poverty often choose.

However, it is much harder for impoverished youth to compete for scholarships in intellectual fields--such as science and math. The resources here are not as accomodating. Computers, technological opportunities, and advanced classes are not as well-funded in impoverished sectors of our society. In otherwords, it's much cheaper to purchase a football or basketball than it is to fund the curriculum needed for advanced classes in engineering.

Of course there is much more to say on this, but I hope that helps some.

There's a feature called 'regression to the mean' - two parents at the extreme of any trait, like intelligence, will tend to have children that are less extreme than they are. So there's at least one argument pulling in the other direction. Stupid parents will tend to have slightly less stupid kids.

However, your proposition is testable. Go see if there's been any research done on the topic (I'm sure there has).

No, it's more often because poor people don't have the resources to improve themselves.

I'm so pretty I almost seduce myself. Oh sorry. Um...partly yes, partly no, to answer your question.

Good day.

Damn i'm hot. I mean you should see me seriously. It is unfair.
