Does the movie, "Witness" give a decent showing of the Amish life?

I have heard/read it did, however the best way for you to find out is to speak with someone who is Almish, clearly you won't find someone who is actively Almish online.

I thought the movie did give a decent showing of the Amish lifestyle. The movie was very good!

I was told by a linguistics professor that they got the accents spot-on.
