After some checking...there is NO power to fuel pump. wires look OK; have power to relay and interchanged relays; changed ignition switch - no help.
Also the fuel gauge does not move when key turned to ON position...what should I check/do next ?????

How about the engine ground wire? Or any fuses blown.

With to days brilliant technology some one has invented a computerized distributor.
Check that if its bad it will intermittently tell the computer that the engine has shut down and the computer then tells the fuel pump to shut down .
It happened with my old Tuck a 92 Jimmy on a long trip.
Be warned it's an expensive part about 150.00
