Just the ones who are stupid enough to think this country and constitution were founded on Christianity and not the Enlightenment. And, the ones who never set foot in a college classroom in their lives.

Actually, public education was a conservative plot to make our country great. Having everybody able to read and write and do arithmetic is a very good thing. And from a Christian perspective, the bible does tell us to train up uor children in the way they should go - that means to educate them the way they should be educated.

Now, having all the little minds at someone's disposal and using that as a way to indoctrinate the masses is no new thing. Hitler did it, Fidel did it. And right now, the liberals are in charge of our public educational system - and they have systematically removed all things conservative from the way in which the young minds are being taught. But I don't blame them - it's inherent in the system. Look at the supreme court. It's set up to NOT be an arm of any political party or agenda, but to the degree that any president is able, the president in office at the time is consciously trying to "form" or "lean" the court to his side.

The difference I see is that the supreme court will always be needed, but privatization of education would eliminate the bias, as well as probably improve the product. The only way I see to "wean" ourselves off of public education is vouchers - for maybe a generation, followed by a gradual decrease in public school size (buildings, staff, economics). Then parents would once again be back in the saddle of training up their children.

Not at all. (By the way, I am a CONSERVATIVE, NOT a NEOCON. Learn the different please) HOWEVER, there is a world of difference between an education and indoctrination. Many public schools and college campuses have become so laden with political agendas that it's hard to tell where the indoctrination ends and the education begins.

Besides, there are plenty of other alternatives out there, and those alternatives provide BETTER education than public options.

but teach kids how to put a condom on
Teach about the educated and enlightened Muslim scholars,
Teach that Christian Crusaders were barbarians

It just keeps going......

Threes no agenda here

They think any knowledge is a plot to undermine what they want you to believe. They are striving for everyone to have the narrow minded tunnel vision of The Great Decider.

I don't know any neoconservatives personally, because I hear there are very few, but I would have to say no.

No... We just get tired of liberal teachers forcing their views down our children's throats... For example: Brokeback Mountain being watched in school, and watch An Inconvenient Truth or don't graduate.

Quote from the (link) article: "Penguins, polar bears and your unborn children have no vote in this. They must live with decisions we make today," the assistant dean said.

Nothing that elaborate. "Educators" today are just another union. Their prime concern is getting the most they can for themselves. The "product" they produce is way down the line in their priorities.

First, not all neocons are Christian. I am not.

Second, no, neocons do not think that education is any kind of plot at all.
