Hi!! I'm flying to Canada from Ireland and the cheapest option was going Dublin-Manchester, Manchester-Toronto. I'll arrive in Manchester at 7:30am (on a Thursday) and don't fly out until 13:30 (check in from 11:30am then). So what'll I do for those 4/5 hours?? I've never been in Manchester, so I don't know the airport or what I could do. Thanks for your ideas!

There is nothing to do, there are bars, coffee bars, burger king and shops, but thats it, take a book. It looks as though your avitar is smoking, well that is all banned once in the airport too, completely. If you are taking a drink, u have to bin it b4 passport control, then pay top price for one when u go through. There is some vibrating leather chairs you could chill out on, but you have to pay to sit on them

The airport is really too far from the city to go and visit. Best bet is to hang out at the airport

When I am waiting for somebody and got early in our meeting
place I usually get hold of a newspaper to kill the time. In your case, i suggest that you pick up a paperback to read sothat
you will not get so bored, that is ifyou are fond of reading, or
take a nap, but don't over sleep.

Go around and say to people you have never seen before in your life..."OMG!! HOW are you? I haven't seen you in the longest time ever!!!!" LOL Or rent a luggage cart and play races with the 12 year old who's using his PSP...he'll love you forever. Or make a fort with your luggage and throw paper balls at passersby Or every time a plane takes off scream "There was a bomb in that plane!!!!".....Ahh....airports...so much fun...so little time!
