This completely depends upon the couple. Every single person has a different sexual desire level. The key to having a satisfying sexual relationship is to find a compromise between your two desire levels.
It is a good idea to have a conversation with your partner about how often you each would like to have sex. From there, you can begin to work on a way to satisfy each of you.
A good idea is to become an expert in your partner's arousal. Learn what turns him/her on and do those things. Make sure you are doing the correct things.

It depends on how long you've been married and how old you are. If you get married in the early 20s and you are newly weds it might be a couple times a day or at least 6-12 times a week. If you are in your sixties and have been married for 40 years, then perhaps about once a week is average. There is no "magic number" in any relationship, it's what the couple agrees on and is happy with.

As often as they are comfortable with - it's different for everyone. Some couples need it every day, others are happy with once a month, and everything in between. It depends.

It depends on your life. As long as you love each other and each person is satisfied, you shouldn't have to stick to a number. Intimacy is most important. Although my hubby and I don't do it as much as before, we share that closeness even when we are to tired to do the do. We share special times just snuggling and we both usually fall asleep in the process. Of course that usual leads to one of us wakig the other up for a little loving.
