If that fails boot off windows cd and do a chkdsk/r on the command prompt to do a dos based system restore to the first restore point.
If that fails switch to opera or mozilla... lol
I had a similar problem on XP and had to do a reinstall of XP

"i've got had information superhighway Explorer 7 all my lifestyles..." impossible except your basically a pair years previous and your waiting to apply a working laptop or computer and consider/write/style already. if so, I supply you props!! yet as others have stated, Firefox is plenty greater useful then IE7, that is probable which you basically have not adjusted to the alterations or the seems, yet supply it a while and you will understand that it would not particularly suck. I disable IE use on the structures I artwork on and have not have been given any courtroom situations simply by fact that individuals are forced to apply Firefox. They adapt, so ought to you!

I would suggest redownloading it. and installing it again.

(MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD IE 7 AGAIN FIRST BEFORE USING THIS OPTION OR ANOTHER BROSWER LIKE FIREFOX) or try removing it complety by Going to the control panal> Ad or remove programs> add/remove windows compoents> Unclick internet explore. then reinstall it.

IF thouse don't work i suggest moving to another browser. I suggest Opera. Firefox works Well.

Once IE7 has been installed it can't be removed without reinstalling XP. There is no uninstall for it.
