Depends totally on the condition and pedigree. Most mass market boats of that vintage would essentially be worthless. A Chriscraft in really great condition, with an engine in showroom condition would be worth quite a lot. A sound, ordignary boat and a working motor, might fetch $500 locally if it looks good.

not quite sure about how much it would be worth being it's so old. However there are multiple books out that could help you, you might even be able to find a version of it online. It's basically like Kelly Blue Book for cars, but for boats. You can find them on Amazon.com.

Here is a link also about the different blue books and how to pick the right one. :)

hi .. parts are not a problem for this motor... Any mercury dealer will carry the parts... ( thats not a real factor in the pricingof the motor) Check on ebay and boat trader online you will see what similar motors are selling for. I Have seen 115s go for as much as 1500 and for as little as 250 it just depends... on who wants what....

A 77 with a 115 outboard, I wouldn't give more than $500 for it.

Instead of Kelly Blue Book you want to look up the NADA value. It's online and easy. Just search NADA. You'll need the make and model.

Hard to say depends on condition type etc. but you can check the value at NADA guides.
