Preferably any home remedies besides the chemical stuff you can buy? The water drains down extremely slowly.

You can try baking soda followed by vinegar. This will remove loose particles that may be blocking the drain line. If you need to go with a chemical cleaner, use an enzyme drain cleaner such as Drain-Care by Zep. It is safe for all drain systems. Enzyme cleaners cling to and eat organic clogs. Caustic cleaners eat a small hole and the flow down the pipes leaving a partial clog to build up again.

One home remedy with a proven track record is to pour a handful of baking soda mixed with a half cup of vinegar down the drain, and follow it quickly with boiling water.

I was told to try Baking Soda. Put about half a box down the drain. Then when you run your water, it should slowly go down and break up whatever is there, supposedly even grease.
