THERE'S A TWO-PART EPOXY PAINT THAT YOU CAN PAINT YOUR BATHTUB WITH......IT'S CALLED "KLENK'S TWO PART EPOXY PAINT FOR TUBS AND TILE SURFACES" THERE IS ABOUT A PINT OF COLOURED PAINT AND A 1/2 PINT OF CATALYST PAINT .....YOU HAVE TO POUR THE TWO CANS TOGETHER AND USE A NATURAL BRISTLE BRUSH TO APPLY IT WITH.....YOU NEED TO WORK FAST AND STEADY, THE PAINT BEGINS TO GET VERY TACKY AND TENDS TO DRAG IF YOU OVER BRUSH IT.......YOU MUST ALSO PREPARE THE SURFACE OF THE TUB BY SANDING AND CLEANING WELL BEFORE YOU PAINT IT.....THE PAINT HAS A VERY STRONG ODOUR AND YOU SHOULD VENTILATE THE ROOM WELL....IT IS ALSO VERY STICKY AND IS HARD TO CLEAN OFF YOUR HANDS ,SO WEAR GLOVES......MORE THAN ONE COAT CAN BE APPLIED BUT IT HAS TO BE DONE WITH-IN A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME FROM THE FIRST COAT......ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS COME WITH THE KIT...IF YOU CLOSELY FOLLOW THEM, IT CAN YIELD PRETTY GOOD RESULTS THAT CAN LAST FOR SEVERAL YEARS.....MOST GOOD PAINT STORE ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE "KLENK'S KITS".....THEY ALSO COME IN A VARIETY OF BASIC COLOURS....WHITE, BLACK.LIGHT BLUE,LIGHT PINK,LIGHT YELLOW,GRAY,AVOCADO AND HARVEST GOLD.....

Besides the already mentioned answers.....this epoxy paint is unlike most paints. It is very thin and runny. The runs are nearly impossible to correct and if you do try to correct them it only gets worse. It takes a certain knack for application. If you are still determined, experiment on a like throwaway item...also be prepared to use remainder of epoxy paint right after experimentation as it does not store well. The kind I used had to be refrigerated when stored. Good luck!

Do not do this yourself. I work for a painter and we spray tubs with epoxy it will last longer and cost you less money in the long run. It only costs about $250-$350. (I live in richmond,IN and I also know that is the price for Dayton ,Oh) You will positively get the result you want in one day if you have someone do it for you. If you choose to do it yourself epoxy is the only thing that will stay clean and last. It is also very difficult to use and remove if you mess up. My boss charges almost as much to strip the tub if it has been painted as it is to get it epoxyed. Whatever you decide Good Luck:)

You can purchase tub refinishing kits at Home Centers. Be forewarned though, follow the directions very carefully. The most important part is the prep (cleaning). If you are not willing to take the time to prep it properly, don't do the process as it will peel quickly.

replace it and be accomplished with the situation, i’m specific they did no longer paint it for esthetics, better than probably the the teeth is broken and ya have been given some rust under there. you're able to discover different themes as time passes; it’s all portion of the abode procuring technique - -disguise and seek for. I do wish you acquire “your individual” engineering inspection…which you paid for.

It's not paint, it's enamel. Try a hardware store.
