It is enough to cause a woman like ME to have a cow. Its not cheating but its too dern close for comfort.

When you hold hands with another person it means that you have feelings for that person so I would have to say Yes, holding hands is cheating on an emotional level.

Adultery starts in the heart long before it is actually acted on.
First comes the flirtation, then mental comparisons with the present spouse, then rationalizations of why cheating would be justified and then it is acted upon.
I would consider it cheating if my wife was romantically holding hands with another man.
I would be more upset if she actually slept the guy, but it is still cheating.
A simple way to check the honesty of the action is to ask:
" How would I feel if my significant other was doing this".
If you wouldn't like them to do it, you probably shouldn't either.
People who cheat usually never think of the long term consequences; families broken, children devastated and traumatized, all because of what began as a little "harmless" flirting.

Well ask yourself this question..
If you were lets say off running errands and you ran into your husband but he didn't see you and you saw him holding hands with another woman, exactly what would be going through your mind??? "Oh, that's just my husband holding hands with some other woman other than me, it's ok though."
Seriously think about it..
Why would he even be holding hands with another woman while he is married???
I know dam well if my husband saw me holding hands with lets say my best friend(( which is a guy))he would freak the f*ck out, because i shouldn't be holding anyone's hand unless it is his..
So yes in a way it is cheating..If you know about it and you are cool with it then i wouldn't concider it cheating!

well! i think holding hand with someone else that is not your spouse have to be consider cheating,when u holding hand with some one there is always some feeling in there and it will lead to other kind of feeling.

if your holding hand , you obviuosly have feelings for that person so yeah i would consider that some what cheating. come on now if you saw someone you were with holding hands with someone else what would you do? most people would feel like they have been cheated on.

I believe anything that takes your affections and attentions from your husband/wife is cheating...whether it is hand holding, kissing, emailing, texting. If you wouldn't do it in front of your spouse/significant other you shouldn't be doing it behind their back.

probity not if that all that going on but why would you be holding hands with someone who you don't have a relationship with but to be sure you should let the person who might have a real opinion on this subject see you holding hands and they will let you know for sure

It is the being of what is an affair. Step one is holding hands, step two is hugging, step three is kissing, step four is a homerun.
