Best if you get legal advice regarding that.

First of all you can't do anything with the children until you are separated and go through the court system to determine who gets custody of the kids. It isn't automatic that you will get them and if you leave before you start any of the processes you could be charged with kidnapping and even worse if you were to cross state lines. As for the money, not until you go before a judge and he determines what if any child support you get. If you were not married then he could tie this up so long wanting a paternity test or trying to prove you as an unfit mother. You don't have much of a leg to stand on right now.

if his money was aquired during your marrage than it will be part of the divorce settlement..if you have bank statements or proof of the money call your attorney..he can get it for you as far as child support it is based on income not winnings or lawsuits..good luck

This is a lawyer thing. Are you legally married? If so, then perhaps yes. If not, then your children certainly might be.

But talk to a lawyer.

greedy little woman aren't you.

I'm sure your lawyer would be happy to file for an adjustment based on new income found. could mean higher monthly payments to you (because we both know you are going to spend as little on the kids as possible just to get back at him, don't we).
