Horses are magnificent: graceful and beautiful in motion or repose; wonderful to touch and be around, and a miracle to ride or drive. And their eyes...liquid dark amber with purple depths, sometimes flashing gold, sometimes ringed with white. Noble or gentle or just reflective.
The feel of a softer-than-velvet muzzle gently nuzzling your hand or your face; nostrils whuffling as you're inspected; a fall of mane or forelock lifting slightly in the breeze; and a tail like a banner of ribbons waving bravely.
Thunder on four legs going by in a gallop or hurling over a fence too tall to see over; muscles like ropes of steel under a skin softer than satin. A horse stolid and quiet, or weightless as a dancer in motion.
Nothing like a horse. If God ever made a nobler animal, I have yet to see it.

i had 2 as a kid,my wife had 5.we are getting one or two when we move next year.they are MAGIC. we love horses.
