How long do you think it will take for America to clean up after this administration?
Obviously, we're still dealing with all the damage Reagan caused.

Actually your premise is quite flawed. If anything has failed, and I am not sure that is a given, I would say the republicans have forgotten they are conservative. They wanted to be a big tent party and act all inclusive and such. Conservatism has succeeded everywhere it is tried. People with all the human failings make it fail if it does in specific solutions because it is all about people standing on their own two feet and denying the entitlement mentality that is the shallow ground of lost minds, hopes and fears.

This is not a conservative administration. Conservatism is still alive and is and always will be part of our American culture whether socialists like it or not.

Decades at best. Hopefully the neo-con wackos will keep out of office so we can repair the damage and stop subjecting Americans to their evil plots. The crimes of the Reagan and Bush administrations will be difficult to undo, but I pray and hope for a brighter horizon.

Conservatism , because it is the right thing, will always be . It is the thinking of intelliigent people. The liberal philosophy is known for its utter silliness and it followers by their dangerousness.

I guess it depends on how many foreigners the U.S. lets in its doors.

You'll need Canadians to do the peacekeeping, and you'll need Mexicans to do the manual labour.

It doesn't look like that's going to happen, so the U.S. is pretty much screwed.

Tough luck.

I believe that Bush-Cheney has done damage that can never be corrected. And they are working in the same direction every day.
