when i turn the key the car will not start and is no clicking sound tolet me know if the starter is working or ifthe anti theft system needs to be overridden and if so how

You didn't mention if any lights come on or if there is power to the radio/accessories. But assuming there is and it is just the engine that is not starting the first thing I would check would be the battery cables, see if they are loose, or pull on them slightly and see if the end comes off (try both ends), you may need a new one, the other thing I would check is to see if a wire to the starter is broken or disconnected in some way. I am sorry though I don't know how to over ride the theft system. Good luck!
