In 50 years it will probably be no big deal to have your own theatre.
If you think about technology, everything has been building up in a compound rate so that in 50 years time we could have who knows what and movies that make us part of it for all I know.
Just as drive in movies are a classic thing now, our movie theatres and "big screen tvs" will be that of the children in 50 years.

In 50 years, we might be looked at as silly, greedy, lazy and self-centered. So, I would venture to say that movies will do a retro about life at the turn of the 21 century, "The Generation That Just Didn't a Damn".
If we aren't looking silly in 50 years, then they are trying to forget how we wasted money with silly tire rims, inflatable shocks, tinted windows, VCR's in mini-vans, diet pills, blackberry, pagers, and still not have money to help the homeless or the poor in our own states and community.
In 50's they will probably have a great laugh at us or they will just kill off the remaining members of our generation to clean out the weeds from the garden.

I think by that point the reality TV craze will have moved to the big screen. Our bratty kids will probably be paying 25 dollars to watch something like American Idol
