The upper hemisphere would sink which would cause a shift in the teutonic plates, the water level would rise and we would loose coastal land but would only be a 15 minute row boat ride to bloody ole England! Whot say you gov'na!

The earth already tilts..as a matter of fact the earthquake that caused the massive tsunamis a couple of years back...caused the planet to wobble and tilt a little more.
Plus it is already too crowded and we are sucking up resources at lighting speed.
