Look at the packaging, some of the better tests claim to be able to detect pregnancy as early as the first day of your missed period. Ask the pharmacist to help you. Then be sure if the test is positive to follow up with your doctor asap, the only truly accurate test is the one you doctor does in his/her office. Good luck!

Just because your period is a day or two late doesn`t mean you`re pregnant.
You didn`t even say if you were sexually active or not.
If you`ve never had sex, or never had semen near you, then there`s no way in hell you could be pregnant.
Even if you are sexually active, a period that is a day late isn`t necessarily the sign of a pregnancy. You should wait a few days to see if you do get your period, and then take the test.

Wait at least a week, especially if you have recently changed your workout schedule, level of physical activity, stress, sleep schedule. All of these can throw off your cycle. However, if you start feeling a flurry of activity in your abdomen, you might be pregnant. If you're trying to get pregnant and you know you're going to be using tests a lot you can get cheap ones at the dollar store that work just the same for a lot less! Good luck!

There are some tests out there that u can take as soon as you miss the first day of your period. Go get u one and go ahead and take the test. But if you're stressing over something, that could make u miss your period. Take the test and find out, if it turns out negative, try to think of what could be causing stress and find some way of releiving it. Hope this will help you.

stressing about being pregnant can make you late. new exercise or weight loss can make you late. take the test now and again every week. A doctor's blood test is more accurate than a urine test FYI

You could be....if you've been having unprotected sex or you missed your birth control. But, really, a day late is no big deal. If it's four or five, take a test.
