My layout is configured so that only one post appears on the index of the blog. I prefer it this way, but Blogger won't tell me how to append "previous post," "most recent post," "next post" links underneath the most recent entry. Any help? I know this is possible, but under the new layout system, they've complicated it...

THE TWO REPLIES ARE UNHELPFUL. I DON'T HAVE THE CODE IN MY HTML. I AM ASKING THE ANSWERS COMMUNITY IF THEY KNOW THE SPECIFIC HTML TAG SO I *CAN* INSERT IT!

The time stamp in the footer for each post works as a permanent link to the post.

You can create such a navigation structure by placing the required links yourself at the end of the post content .... while you are making up the post..

requires you to do a bit of additional work..

You can use whatever text you wish as the display text

See if this helps

I remember that particular Kingdom ministry and what was written was well said and with every good reason! We do get plenty of material from our society that is beautifully put together for our benefit. This actually shows that we are not being "minded controlled"! I have joined a few website created by our brothers and sisters and I know that if any of our elders looked, they would heartily approve of them! I have seen tearsofoberon's blog and think it is great! I can understand your confusion. For example I live in France and an french brother came to see us and as soon as he heard the word: computer - internet - he went full steam ahead explaining the dangers that I already knew! He demanded that I discontinue (in a kind way). I tried to show him an example on here, but he was so convinced that he did not want to look! Yet another brother - also french - said that as long as I do not let this take over the door to door work, then it is fine! The difference is: one brother doesn't own a computer; the other one does! To my mind as long as what ever blog or web page is created, has the stamp of our organisation in everything it says, then I trust it. I have been into sites were I thought were good, but tiny little things hit out at me to realise that it was an apostate site! So, the key thing is: if our brothers and sisters create sites to enhance our organisation rather than detracting from it, then that is fine. We do have our own thoughts, but like with everything in life, we have a direction to go down and as long as it is in harmony with Jehovah, then our organisation is fine with it. I hope that I have helped you?

Edit the post. At the bottom, click Options. There, you may change the date of the post, as desired, to change how the post appears, as you desire, in the order of things.
