Depends on the whale. Most whales would never have any cause to fight dolphins, and vice versa - making the whole question moot.

However, killer whales eat dolphins. I imagine that answers your question?

A fight, probably a whale for sheer power, but dolphins are extremely fast and flexible.

Killer whales are dolphins (they are in the family Delphinidae) and there name is derived from them attacking and eating whale calves.

depends if it was a killer whale it would win because it always plays with its food before they eat it. so then the killer whale would win--not the dolphin.

Killer whale wins. It's part of their nature to prey on other cetaceans. Your call whether you want to call them "whales" or "dolphins."
