At what point did you realize that your marriage was over?

From experience in handling many divorces over many years, Ive learned that once a couple asked that very question their marriage was in deep trouble and on the verge of ending. What happened next was totally up to them because as in all of life; nothing is over til its over. Ive seen many couples rescue their marriages from the halls of hell with a little help when they thought their marriages were actually over and lived many happy years afterwards. Youve come to the point where you realize your marriage is in deep trouble but what you do with it now is up to you two. Good luck

I realized my first marriage was, or should be over early on. I wasn't very happy and I always wondered what my life may have been like if I hadn't married this particular person. I was annoyed by alot of things he did, and it just did not feel like it would last. I am now married again and it feels different this time. I am more content and happy.

The day I got married. I knew it didn't feel right, but was freaking out...people were there, the music had started, guests were seated...I was PREGNANT and 18, and thought...I have no other choice...but still had a gnawing feeling that I wasn't doing the right thing.....and it lasted 10 years (of playing house) for me to realize, you can NOT make the heart feel something it doesn't.

When all the lies started coming to the surface and the things that I had worked for or cherished starting disappearing. Selfish liars are like water, they always take the easiest downhill path.

When he told me that he did not want to be a husband anymore. It was a lot of things. Lack of communication, no romance, he always wanted to be by himself ( figured out that was because he was cheating). And just my gut feeling. I didn't want to face it but I just knew. When I saw him I didn't feel excited anymore. Coming home I dreaded. I tried to suggest getaways, and even counseling. But he turned it down. I prayed for two things, peace to accept what had to happen and for God to reveal to me his plan.
