Here is the realistic truth, if a Dem wins the WH all media attention will shift to how wonderful life is under socialism,
should a Rep win, it will be Bush and the new guy up until the media can create a false image of the new guy.
So really the answer is, when will the media and the socialist leaders at the DNC stop focusing on Bush.

given that Republicans still obsess daily about Clinton, your question is one of the most ridiculous ones I have seen in a long time.
But to answer your silly question, people will stop "obsessing" about Bush in 2009. They may complain about him for years to come because the damage he has cause this nation will last for years. You see the difference is, Clinton didn't do anything to damage this country. Bush did, and that gives Liberals and Democrats the right to complain.

Well, he IS the President, therefore a person of some consequence. Even a poor, bumbling individual like George W. Bush can leave a mark. So I'd say much of the grumbling will end once he leaves in January 2009 (hurrah!) but the evidence of his ineptness, namely the Iraq war and the divisive politics he created across America, will take some time to heal from.
Many conservatives and moderates are also disillusioned with the Sitcom President, so it's not entirely a "liberal" thing.
But you knew that.

I think the Liberals need to move away from Bush and concentrate on the whole Republican party`s economic policies and how they have not worked for the middle class starting from 1980. Even Clinton signed NAFTA which is a republican idea.

I'm to the far left, and trust me, I don't obsess about him. As for everyone else, probably about two weeks after the cons stop blaming everything on Clinton, who has been gone for a long time now....

Due to 911 and Katrina, two extremely major events, he will probably be discussed for many years just because he was president when they occurred. His reaction and his secrecy have caused a lack of trust. He is right when he says history will judge him. Which way, I don't know.

Well January 20th 2009 seems like a good day to tone it down. But, in all reality we will still be cleaning up his mess...probably well into 2012-if not further. And I don't believe he should ever be let off the hook for what he has done to our country.

Over 6 years later and the conservatives are still crying about Clinton's BJ. Give me a break! Every con says - it was Clinton's fault. Hypocrite.
