I would say about 4 inches. Especially if its a male because they always lie about how big they are.

I'm not sure that you are accurately gaging visual perception for a few reasons. First, the fact that you are asking drives votes to the extreme small or the extreme large because - otherwise, why would we be surprised? In a picture that offers nothing to compare relative size, our brains will instinctively latch on to other clues that may exist outside the image itself - in personal experience with turtles, in our knowledge of biology (or in my case geology using the rocks to measure size) and in the very wording of the question.
Then again, maybe that's what you are interested in.

He is a littly guy, about the size of a half-dollar. Looks like a loggerhead turtle baby, but most baby turtles are about one to three inches in diameter. Cute little schmlautz!

I went with under 4 inches.

I like turtles I'd say he is about 6-8 inches
