If you spend your time trash-talking someone. Instead of talking Positve about what you believe? You're undermining this Country. You are not giving anyone a good reason to vote "FOR" your Candidate or idea. You're turning people off with this kind of message.
It's better to educate, than insult. Many believe it. So why do we stand by and let this kind of message go on?
To debate, is one thing. But there isn't a shred of debating. In these form of questions.
When will you reach a point of saying, No More? And look to eduacate everyone?
Not talk all of this garbage!

You can't make a Sale! By talking against the competition. You promote your Product or idea. And leave it up to the Customer to figure out which is right.

You are confusing patriotism with nationalism. It's just fine to have multiple, different voices. It's part of democracy. It may not be efficient, but that's one of the prices we pay for freedom.
Because someone doesn't agree with the president doesn't make them unpatriotic. Quite the opposite is true. They love the country and are upset with the direction the current president is headed, much the way I'm sure you spoke of Clinton when he was in office. Blindly following the administration, without the benefit of analysis or introspection is fraught with peril.
What the current president and his administration spouts is nationalism, stating that either you're with them or with the terrorists. The almost exact opposite is true. Don't buy into it.
I love this country and have made a heck of a lot more sacrifices than either Bush or Cheney has.

I think that, unfortunately, the actions of the current administration may have something to do with this phenomenon. The version of patriotism that has been pushed by the 28 percenters is really just blind nationalism combined with historical ignorance (blame America never vs. blame America firsters - both stupid). Real patriots, conservative and liberal, have been derided for using critical thinking seeking the truth rather than blindly supporting every war or potential war that the elites decide to cook up. However, people are seeing through the lies and real pro-American, pro-freedom patriotism - one that breaks through the false labels of liberalism and conservatism - is on the rise, as evidenced by the success of Ron Paul's candidacy (which is being covered up by the elite corporate media).

We're becoming bi-products of the over politicizing of the war. I think both sides of the aisle are disappointed. We are Americans in an American war. I don't think liberals wanted the Democrats to completely cease fighting terror and it was unfortunate that they used the peoples vote as an excuse for pushing their personal agendas instead of changing the course in fighting terrorism. So both sides are frustrated and I think we use this forum to vent.

What exactly is more Patriotic than being anti-conservative\anti-Bush and everytime a conservative feels compelled to share their unbridled adoration for their great hope to forward their social agenda at the expense of the entire country that those who would rather watch paint dry share their viewpoint on just how lowly they think of your social agenda?

So basically, what you're saying is that if you disagree with the administration, you should say really nice things about it anyway because it'll improve morale?
It is not unpatriotic to disagree with the government, nor is it unpatriotic to express that disagreement in any forum we choose. That is our right, protected from infringement by the First Amendment to the Constitution - which, by the way, is what you're supposed to defend with your life. The Constitution, not the current administration.
Do you click your heels together every night before you go to sleep and say, "There's no one like George Bush... There's no one like George Bush..."?

Because we're overrun with childishness. Take a good look at some of these questions. Most of them are smear campaigns that lack intelligence.
