Ther are 4240 sq. yards in an acre

there are 1760 times 1760 sq yards in a sq mile

so there are 1760 times 1760/4240 acres in 1 sq mile

and there are 24 x 1760 x 1760 / 4240 acres in a sq mile

I'll let you do the last bit
