I do not know if it is best to install it directly in our compressor room or to have it just outside in the entry room.

The station doesn't do any good if it's in the location of a NH3 release since you wouldn't be able to breathe in there. I would put it outside the building.

you're watching something upwards of 25k watching the layout, plus you will choose making plans permission, the main issues you will locate are, working costs, electric powered maintenance for trapdoors etc, a extra value-effective decision is a smaller piranha tank or purely an acid tub

Before you go to the expense of installation, perhaps in the wrong place, why don't you contact OSHA to see what their requirements are?

Check with the Safety engineer for such things. There are OSHA guidelines (if you are in USA) and similar guidelines in other countries.
