I make my own decisions but it sure is helpful to have a "panel" of non-biased people take a look at things objectively. After years of someone telling you you're crazy, you almost start to believe it. Thanks to all who give honest, REALISTIC answers. Has anyones life been improved and in what ways after posting questions?

i have people in my life that can make me feel crazy. i will often believe that they are correct. so when i posted a question and pretty much everyone thought the same thing i had been thinking, i felt floored. it made me realize that i need to give myself more credit and really examine my relationship with this person. that situation has not been resolved but i feel stronger and more able to stand up for myself. i also realized i had the right to stand up for myself, because i had allowed this person to try to take away my right to be treated fairly and respectfully. so thankyou to those answerers.

No. Mostly I post questions on here to try and cheer people up and get them to think outside of whatever depressing box they are stuck inside of at the moment while encouraging them to take some responsibility for their own lives and happiness.

I've received some great validation on this forum. I've also received perspectives I hadn't considered. If you weed through some of the obnoxious posts, there can be some great advice.

Been there, done that. Actually went to a shrink, which confirmed my sanity. Divorce followed, and life became beautiful!
