y=6x+6 is the formula for a line.
In order to be parallel or perpendicular you would need two lines. Because you only have one line, it is neither parallel or perpendicular

as compared to what other line? two lines are parallel if they have the same slope. if two lines are perpendicular the slope of one is the negative reciprocal of the slope of the other.
