I am leaving for the hospital right now. My ex-husband is not expected to live much longer. Can you please leave messages, stories or jokes that will cheer up my children and I, for when we come home and can read them?

My children were getting ready to leave. That's why I had some time to post this question.

There is nothing the doctors can do for my ex, other then keep him as comfortable as possible. They are going to allow him to spend the remainder of his time at my home.

There are many people out in the ethernet who love and care for all of you. Just because we haven't met in person doesn't mean we don't have empathy for you at this difficult time.

I lost my Dad 2 years ago, and it was hard. The good thing is, as time goes by I see more and more of him in myself. This helps me feel closer to him.

Contact me any time for support and a kind word.

Better places exist, God has a garden that's in need of tendering and while he's there he can play with Doona-man's dog. Say G'day to Tess for me.
