Illegal immigrants have no right to the same ammenities and accutriments that American citizens have because they are in this country illegally. I am sorry....coming across the border legally isn't that hard. This is America...a country built on immigration. I just don't understand why all these people are flooding our country and we are just allowing it and trying to make them legal somehow. The Mexican government should be ashamed of themselves practically pushing their citizens to come here illegally. I don't have a clue what it takes to immigrate from Mexico but it can't be that hard to do legally. Seems to me that legal immigration would be cheaper and a lot less dangerous for these people. Then they would have the rights we have....legally.

Illegal immigrants don't deserve anything but to be sent back to their country...

...however, we are in a tough situation here. For too long, this country has come to DEPEND on the labor of illegal immigrants, even make profit off of the fact that they'll work for less money or under worse conditions. If we could magically get rid of all of them from one day to the next, the majority of industries in this country would completely COLLAPSE from the foundation up, for lack of people willing/able to fill all of the positions they've left behind. It's not so simple as "kick them all out" anymore. Just kicking them all out will do more overall damage than keeping them here. So we have to find some way to get rid of them while keeping our businesses from completely falling apart. It won't be easy...

As an ILLEGAL, they should get nothing. HOWEVER.......if we want to control the problem, the American Government needs to be doing the following things: 1) For all those people who are here with their families, and want to stay and be part of America.....we should be helping them to become legal. 2) For all those people who only want to come here, work for a few months, and go back home to their families....we should be giving them temporary work visas.
I am NOT against immigration OR immigrants. As many people as we have in this country who need social services, how can we help them if we can't find them? They need to be documented for their protection, as well as ours.

They're here illegally, which is wrong. The worst illegal aliens are the ones who steal Social Security numbers and live off social welfare and the ones that come over to go into labor, get free healthcare, and stay because their child is now an official American citizen. That law needs some adjustment. I'm all about free healthcare, but I'm a citizen and I don't get it for free, but I have to pay for their's too, that's BS. Migrant workers and those that come over and earn everything are better for see us as "The Land Of Opportunity." I'll be happy to vote to make it easier for them to become citizens provided they continue to contribute to our society and be proud Americans.

First, I like Immigrants ... but I don't like "Illegal Immigrants".

Immigrants are those who will take the time, energy, and some financial responsablity to live the way our society is structured.

Illegal Immigrants are those who are running away from their problems, and are here to take what they can get for free. To me this feels like they are steeling from us while pissing on what we give them. Sure they can organize and march to get more free stuff ... but why didn't they organize and march in their country of origin? Again, energy is being misplaced.

However there is always the under line for peace. Respect for and development of human life require peace. Peace is not merely the absence of war, and it is not limited to maintaining a balance of powers between adversaries. Peace cannot be attained on earth without safeguarding the goods of persons, free communication among men, respect for the dignity of persons and peoples, and the assiduous practice of fraternity. Peace is "the tranquillity of order." Peace is the work of justice and the effect of charity.

So, I guess we'll have to treat them as charity cases to maintain peace ... however, I do hope and pray that they understand that they will spend the time, energy, and financial fruits from this courntry to maintain the quality of life we've created.

Any real leadership would declare a national emergency immediately, and allow FEMA to take over the country until the job is done. Then recruit one million volunteers to build a great wall of China along the Rio Grande. I want absolutely nothing to do with Mexico!

No they shouldn't.
First off they got here through illegal means which makes them criminals.
Since they are paid under the table they do not pay the same taxes as we do.
Most don't seem to have any strong loyalties to the US but to their native countries.
Many criminals (gangsters) are illegal immigrants.

h3ll no. they are illegal, other people worked there butts off to get into this country and get in right.
another reason, its bad for the economy because they don't do taxes which means we give them money but we get nothing back for the state which means everything gets worse and worse. kick the illegals out and have them get in the right way, or wait, better yet, have them fix there own d@mn country instead of making ours worse.

No, simply because they are not U.S. citizens.

Should I have all the rights that a citizen of another country has just by setting my foot on their soil?
