Viewing of the World Series has declined somewhat in recent years so they thought that by starting it in the middle of the week when everyone is home to watch it, they can draw a bigger crowd for the overall viewing of the series

Because that is when it begins after the season is completed. What difference does it really make? The crowds will be there and the television audience will be too for every game of the series.

because of all the days off. national league has there games going once extra game so they want to have days off in between so there fore they moved it one day. Does it matter?
