In this type of question, all you must do is put the values of x and y in 2x - 3y to get the answer.

2x - 3y = 2(-3) - 3(-4)
= -6 - (-12)
= 12 - 6
= 6

When x = -3 and y = -4, 2x - 3y = 6

First substitute your x's and y's (-3, -4) into the equation (2x-3y). You multiply -3 * -4, and they are both negatives, the answer is +12. Next 2 * -3= -6. Add the two together [12+(-6)]= +6. Anyhow, hope you understand.
