You need to call your OB for clarification. When you say rest completely, I take that as don't lift a finger to do anything.

If the doctor told you to rest you should........When I was pregnant I was put on bed rest and still miscarried. There's nothing you can do if your going to miscarry you will so if you want to wash the dishes or cook dinner i would but definetly clear it with your doctor first he/she is the ONLY one who will be able to give you a right answer to protect your unborn child.
Good luck and becareful hopefully everything works out!

You should just rest and relax. You can walk around or sit on the sofa. Since you had a history of a miscarriage, you don't want to lose this one too.

complete bed rest means you are up long enough to fix a light snack or go to the bathroom. you can be on your feet for no longer than 5 minutes/ call your doctor to be sure this is how it was explained to me

You really should ask your Dr., but you might be able to take a kitchen chair, place it at the sink and pretty much use that a crouch to help with some of the kitchen work. From my experience I would LISTEN to the Dr. as much as possible. I was pregnant with twins, I managed to have one but the other, well.... because I didn't listen to the Dr. Please listen to whatever he/she says.

Good luck

You need to get clarification from your doctor. He's the only one that knows for sure.

This is a question best asked to your doctor. Call him/her - that's what they're there for!
