I need information on how Baghdad was a center of learning in the 8th or 9th century.It can't be Wikipedia.

Check out a copy of Encyclopedia Britannica and World Book Encyclopedia.

You won't find much. Alot of it is made up history. It was NOT the center of "learning", not anything worth wild anyway.
