The cooper would be fun-a blast to drive. As long as you arent hauling around a crowd of people.
But i would have to say the accord would more than likely be more reliable and a better car.
But that doesnt mean you shouldnt buy the cooper. If you want one, and if you are young i would say go for it. You wont be able to have a Mini Cooper 10 years from now when you are married with 2 kids. No room for car seats in it!

If you go for the Accord V6 Coupe it is a quite a fast car and will hang with the Mini Cooper S. The Accord with 4 cylinder is similar in performance to the Mini Cooper.
Honda will provide better reliability, but the Cooper more style.

both are good cars. It only depends on your choice of size. A mini cooper is a super fun car to drive, comfortable for its size, and has BMW reliability, digs in on corners, great gas mileage, you also have the choice of supercharger on the cooper S. The accord is roomy, honda reliability, good gas mileage, an overall comfortable car with some power. If having comfortable passenger space, isnt your top priority, I'm a honda guy but I would get the mini cooper instead.

Accord : is more reliable, low maintenance expenses for everyday drive and more resale value in next couple year
worth for the money...
Mini Cooper : is emotional vehicle...... if you don't think about value of money......and don't mind to pay high maintenance services.... you are emotional value...just go for it..
Have a nice car.......

if your looking for a fun to drive car than you need to stick to a German make Mini (by BMW) Audi BMW ext. the Honda is a nice car but it is more of a family sedan or coupe that is not exciting to drive at all.

The Accord, while a good car, is FWD, not good for drifting. Of your list, I vote the Audi. Later models of the Eclips would be good since they are RWD. AWD would be best though, and if I am not mistaken the Audi is, I know the A6 is. Subaru is also a good option.
