Yes, in fact they should not be allowed to continue as a breed. they where breed for fighting, and that was just wrong from the beginning, should never have been done. sad for the Dogs that a living, but Man's exploitation of dogs for a violent purpose just shows you that some people are not the respecters of animals as they profess to be. You may enjoy the breed, and thats fine, but Do you like them because of the ferociousness's that is in them, that was breed into them? I doubt it. Many seem docile, but they do have a much higher potential for busting out into an attack than any other breeds. To bad it was all done for money, breeding a dog to kill another dog in a pit, like cock fighting, it's inhuman, and once again it was wrong that the breed was developed that way. and should not be allowed to continue in a city or town.

No, Pit bulls have the potential to be mean, but so does a person. With a pit bull its all in the way you raise them. I have met many that were so sweet I let my 12 month old son play with them. I also had an old fitting pit bull. I saved him from the pound. He was completely mutilated but he was still sweet as hell and never once attacked my other dogs.

no personally, i dont think pitbulls should be banned
yes, there breed is a bit more aggresive but with the right care and affection they can be very friendly dogs
as long as you have insurance and keep it on a leesh no one has the right to ban your dog from city limits

Pit Bulls are a dangerous dog. They need to be liscenced like firearms. I would argue all dogs capable of killing someone need to be liscenced. And anyone found raising these dogs for fighting should have their property seized by the government.

no, i feel that the people who raise the dog 2 be fighters should be!!! People have misconceptions about pitbulls. It is the owner that makes them agressive. I think everybody should watch dog whisperer. I think that there should be harsher laws for those people who have attack dogs, then they might think about what they have created.
