A certain culture??? I am sure you mean their culture! Yes, we should be respectful towards everyones culture irrespective of what our real feelings are. We have no right to make fun of their ways (if we find them weird). It is just like visiting someone house for whatever reason. We are on our best behaviour and try to enjoy our stay and not burden the host.

Definatley, but I'm sure not all foreigners can be aware of ALL things considered inappropriate in other countries. Americans tend to stand out (stereotype) when traveling abroad, and I think some cultures pick on us and wait for a mistake to be made.

Yes. I would make an effort to learn their customs. I lived in South Korea while my then-husband worked on a construction project. The company provided us a booklet of cultural "rules and regs" and it was very helpful.

Depends.
When i was in the middle east, it was customary to kiss a guy on the cheek when you greet him. I couldn't bring myself to do it. Also, there were bathrooms with no toilet paper in the stalls, just a hose that squirted water. I later found out that it was customary to wipe your a$$ with your hand and then rinse it off.
Sorry, just not happening.

most defiantly, i don't like when people come to America and disrespect my country, so i would never go to another country and disrespect their culture, that's just rude, and ignorant. everyone does things differently and i respect that. that would be like me going into someones house and messing with stuff, i wouldn't like it if they did it to me.
