How do skype enabled cellphones work?

Wal mart is going to sell those cellphones since today, what can they do, how much do they cost and are they better than common cellphones?

Its not a cell phone, it a cordless phone. These phones will work with your regular land line service and then allow you to switch over to Skype to use VOIP.

You will not beable to travel with this phone and make calls from werever you want like a cell phone. Sorry.....
