They couldn't do that. Federal law supercedes all local and state laws. In other words, because Bin Ladin is wanted at the Federal level, he would not be elidgble for sanctuary in a US city or territory, because Federal law has jurrisdiction.

I don't think employees of the US can be considered an Illegal can they? I mean his family was all here for the longest time and of course right after 9/11 they were flown on your tax dollars back to their country..Don't recall any city giving them sanctuary other than Crawford Texas.

Oh, you bet they would. According to some (not all) liberals, the terrorists aren't really bad... we just don't understand them. We need to be nice to them then they won't bomb us or kill our troops or destroy our buildings...it's all our fault and if we just make nice on Bin Laden then it will be all better.

Warped, I know, but there are really people who think this way. Two of them are in my own family. They have the right to their own opinions, but I have the right to disagree with them as well.
