everyone is right that you will keep cross infecting each other,, its surprising that you can tolerate sex while you have it I've known it to be painfull for most girls. so I'd refrain or definatly use a condom. a SIMPLE easy way to clear up his yeast infection is to just get the monostat cream and rub it into the skin of the affected areas on the penis after a couple days it should clear up I'm telling you this from personal experience so trust it : ) good luck! oh and men RARELY actually get the infection in there urethra and as it sounds its just affecting the skin likely because he did not wash his genitals after intercoarse but follow the directions with the monostat cream and it'll clear up just fine

When you have a yeast infection it can easily be passed to your partner...most men don't even know they have one so they can pass it right back to you. His symptoms could be from the medication or he could possibly have gotten the infection from you. I would not reccommend having sex when you are under treatment for a yeast infection.

Yeast infections can be spread to your sex partner. He should be seen by a doctor for treatment. The microwave will work, but doctors say that just a run in the hot dryer will kill the bacteria on underwear.

He should get treated for yeast as well, otherwise he's just going to pass it back to you again, and the miserable cycle will start all over.

If you absolutely MUST have sex during your yeast treatment, use a condom.

He should contact his doctor. Chances are he caught your yeast infection. Although it is more common in women, men can, and do, get yeast infections. If he is embarassed about it and doesn't want to call his doctor, he can try using one of the over the counter cream treatments such as monistat.

He needs to be treated for the yeast infection too and you need to quit having sex until you are completely cleared up or he will just keep passing it back to you.

I wouldn't suggest it. You can give it to him, and he can give it back to you. In fact, if you were sexually active with him before the infection, he might already have it and not know it. Doctors will usually treat a man if his female partner has one. My doctor has given my husband diflucan twice when I have had a yeast infection.
