Oh I almost forgot!
The top 2 teams in each division go on to the playoffs. There will be no wild-card.

Okay, so maybe Montreal won't ever get a team again. So, how about a team called the Carolina Comets?

To Warren1515:
That's also a good idea!
Instead of the Las Vegas Green Sox, there should be a team called the Louisville Sluggers!

Bad idea.
1. Montreal will never get another team.
2. Baseball needs contraction more that expansion as the talent is too diluted.
3. Wild Card is actually good as quite often the two best teams in a league are in the same division(Indians and Tigers this year)

Re-balance a little. Change 18 interleague (only sixteen other teams?) to 16 games, alternate home field year to year. The two extra games make 14 for all seven division rivals (7 home, 7 away). Have the top teams against #2 in the alternate league division, then the winners meetto determine the league champ. Eight teams vying to play in the Series permits a Yankee-Red Sox, Mets-Braves, CWS-Twins etc. playoff possibility prior to the Series. Drop Vegas; too much could go wrong. Drop Montreal; already did go wrong. Add Louisville or Indy, add Mexico City or San Juan.

Montreal simply won't ever again get a team. MLB will be extremely hesitant to put a team in Las Vegas or anywhere else in Navada because of the state's gaming laws.
Unbalanced schedules are simply wrong, and you want to make the schedules even more unbalanced that they are now. The link below is Chipper Jones' comments on the setup of interleague play, but every word of it actually applies to unbalanced schedules.
I'd say you need to drastically rethink your plan, and if you're going to come up with something, have it based on reality.

Very well done!! The only disagreement I would have is that Montreal does not deserve a major league franchise since they never supported the team that was there the first time. Las Vegas would be a good choice as would Louisville or Indianapolis.
Chow!!

take about a insane advantage of being in the east division because of scheduling. Imagine a team in the western division playing all division opponets but flying from Chicago to LA for a 3 game series, then onto St Lous for a 3 game series than back to San Diego for a series.

No, too many teams in each division. I do like the idea of shorter playoffs though. Also, there should be a team from Louisiana in the league too. What about the total number of games played?

I like the concept of returning to just an eastern and western division also eliminating the wild card in the playoffs

a million. ability 2. ability and enable me see now, selection 3, what ought to it is...oh, sure... 3. ability hey, if a woman shows significant-league skills, a team will sign her. trouble-free as that. it would be super for that team economically; the team gets skills, and that they get a participant who will convey followers into the ballpark. the difficult area is that there fairly are not any women who've shown significant-league skills. it is according to danger because of the fact for practically all of ladies, softball is the sport of decision. as quickly as they swap to softball, it turns into practically impossible to return back to baseball and play it on an identical point because of the fact the international-type athletes who play significant League Baseball. it fairly is nearly impossible to win a recreation of capture-up whilst competing against international-type athletes. So, the day a woman recommendations up a softball, she is placed at an extreme downside. So, basically an extremely tiny share of ladies are nonetheless taking part in baseball by applying the time they get to extreme college. After that, i don't understand if there are any at present taking part in in college or the minor leagues (nevertheless i'm unsure). consequently, you're commencing with an extremely tiny share of ladies who may even probably play MLB. the possibilities are purely stacked so heavily against them. to be certain that a woman to interrupt into MLB, there would would desire to be some magnificent drop interior the attractiveness of softball. trouble-free as that. to grant them of undertaking to play MLB, you are able to desire to have extra youthful women determining that they choose to play baseball. It won't take place any time quickly, yet at some point if it does, i'm going to be rooting for her.

i dont like it. but if you want to change anything about the divisions then i think the brewers should move back to the AL and join the central and move the royals to the west so there will be an even amount of teams in each league and division.
