I always say I am going to take a nap on my lunch break, but after I fix my lunch, eat, feed the dogs, take the dogs out, factor the drive to my house and back to work in, I usually don't have time. So as 2 or 3pm rolls around I am super tired, but our bodies are programmed to make us all tired about that time. So in the morning I am fine, after I miss my afternoon nap, which they said you could even benefit from 5min of a nap, I tell myself I AM DEFINETLY going to take a nap after work. But when I get off and get home, I am usually wired and ready to cook , pick up, watch my shows and do other things, so I never seem to get my nap in. I think I just just by telling myself I am going take a nap all the time I trick myself into staying awake.
