A good BB gun! You could also consider getting one of the "have a heart traps" from a pet or hardware store and putting some apple slices or carrots in the back and catching the rabbits and taking them on a long ride in the country and letting them out. Honestly, rabbits are stupid and are really fragile and easy to kill. Even a good sling shot would do the trick. Depends on how much stomach you have for that sort of thing I guess. One thing for sure, if you have 2 rabbits this year, by the fall you will have 12 rabbits and next summer you'll have 40 rabbits etc.

you might think this is far fetched but, have some one cut their hair and sprinkle it around the edge,Im not sure it works but my family does it and they say it works. They smell the human sent and they go away. And take pie pans and tie them on strings to and steak them in the ground around the garden, when the wind blows it it makes sound and scares the rabbits off.Heres another idea.My mother used to plant lettuce all around the edge of the garden, she said that the rabbits get to that first and they wont want to go further, cause they're full to eat any thing else.try it what would it hurt

My favorite trick is household ammonia. Pore a little around
your plants a few inches away as it can burn the plants One
good whiff of that and they will shop someplace else. That
will also keep dogs away from the garbage cans and other
critters from digging in your garden.
Good luck.

Chicken wire either on the ground flat or as a fence.

Fill old socks with your hair, slivers of soap, pet hair, dryer lint place around garden.

Save your urine in a sealable container (coffee can) and sprinkle it around the garden.

Both keep them out of my 40 x 60 vegie garden.

Fox urine will scare them out. Or spray your plants with hot sauce. Also, I had trouble with little critters munching on my plants until I sprinkled the area with red pepper.
