Yes, I have often regreted not having listened to them.Nowadays, I listen to them most of the time. Because I know that I may not like their words at that particular moment. But they always say what is good for me. They understand what is right for me better than I do.

Most of the time I did listen to my parents so I have no regrets.

No because I claim responsibility for my actions. Many times the people closest to you, like the family, would suggest options which they feel is best for you, because they would want to protect you from emotionally and physically hurting yourself based on the experiences they have gathered over the years. It is up to you to see if that advice is applicable in the situation you are in.
If your heart and mind feels strongly about something Just Do It, whether it is right or wrong, you will always know that you did what you wanted to do.

Yes, i do regret but i feel more ashamed for not having
listened to my elders/parents sometimes.
Normally i do listen to them but sometimes...............its all due
to my short - temper.

Yes, I do.

Even now when I'm talking to my nice and nephew, I just can tell they aren't listening to me in the same fashion I didn't really listen my mum and dad.
