If you are going stag, there is nothing wrong with the rooms in the Golden Gate, but they are small, and the hallways are kind of gross. If you are going with a lady, North Tower rooms in the Vegas Club are large and clean. Nothing fancy, but decent and a good value. Downtown is a great place to stay, with all the clubs in easy walking distance.

4 Queens and Golden Nugget are the best near Fremont Street.

The area is going under a great redevelopment. El Cortez is good. There's a lot energy at the location now. You will be happy. Also Stations Casino has a location in the Freemont Street area.

You, cant lose if you stay at The Golden Nugget it is a beauitiful casino and the rooms are nice, best place to stay downtown.

If I were you I wouldn't go to Fremont st. Go to the strip. Fremont street is grungy, filled with homeless people and losers.
