I just bought a cellphone and I would like to know how the screen is affected by sunlight since I found rainbow like colors on the screens of my old cellphone. And a friend told me that it was due to exposure to sunlight and that LCD screens would get damaged if exposed to direct sunlight. I would like to know how true is it?

LCD (Liquid Crystal Diode) is a display based on the gathering and turning of electrically charged liquid behind a glass screen.

If it's heated or cooled beyond it's normal operating temperatures by too much.. you can damage it.

That means leaving it in the sun, or in the car during the winter even.. and that can cause the "rainbow" effect on the screen.

Best policy... have a maintenance plan with whomever you buy cell phones from.. they're a hard item to keep in good, if not working, condition.. always nice to be able to exchange them out.

use a hair dryer!! mine went via the washing device one time and had a foggy reveal. dont do what the human beings informed you to do bout socks and a dryer.. its not likely stable to have exessive warmth exceedingly for the battery.. so the hair dryer is extra suitable to apply over the dryer cuz the dryer is non-quit warmth and what not. plus it tumbling around in there ought to brake it. one difficulty i reccomend once you pruchase a sparkling telephone.. take out the water injury discover decal. shop it in a verrry risk-free place the place you will not lose it EVER.. if your telephone gets moist, pop that decal back on and take it back!! LOL they cant say you have water injury cuz the decal became into on no account touched by applying water and altered a different colour.
